First off, the fact that you’re checking me out here means SO much to me. Truly. This job is such an honor and privilege, and I don’t take a single second of it for granted.

I have a naturally nostalgic and sentimental personality. I cry at commercials and sometimes anticipatorily miss moments while I’m still living them. While that can feel heavy sometimes, it’s also taught me how important it is to slow down and fully live in each season as it comes.

Feeling things so deeply gives me the gift of finding emotion in everything. The way pinkies brush together. Sweet toddler curls bouncing while they run. The laugh that only happens when someone forgets there’s a camera nearby.

One of my favorite things to do when I visit home, or the home of someone I love, is look through the photos they have printed and displayed. My favorite photos always end up being the everyday life moments that were special enough to make it into a photo album.

I think photos are one of life’s greatest storytellers. They preserve the people we love, the seasons we lived through, and the little moments that would’ve otherwise slipped by unnoticed. Getting to be a part of your stories to pass down throughout generations is so incredibly special to me.
